I keep your precepts and rules, for you are aware of everything I do. ¹ 

My child, ²  do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep ³  my commandments,

Remove perverse speech ¹  from your mouth; ²  keep devious talk far from your lips. ³ 

Keep yourself ¹  far ²  from her, and do not go near the door of her house,

My child, ²  keep my words and treasure up my commands in your own keeping. ³ 

“So now, children, ¹  listen to me; blessed are those who keep my ways.

I have observed the burden that God has given to people ¹  to keep them occupied.

You keep completely safe the people who maintain their faith, for they trust in you. ¹ 

Why do you keep on forgetting ¹  us? Why do you forsake us so long?
