Each had four faces; each had four wings and the form of human hands under the wings.

Yet the Most High ¹  does not live in houses made by human hands, ²  as the prophet says,

on the day when God will judge ¹  the secrets of human hearts, ²  according to my gospel ³  through Christ Jesus.

So then, ¹  it does not depend on human desire or exertion, ²  but on God who shows mercy.

so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on the power of God.

For whenever someone says, “I am with Paul,” or “I am with Apollos,” are you not merely human? ¹ 

Now ¹  I want you to know, brothers and sisters, ²  that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. ³ 

Are you so foolish? Although you began ¹  with ²  the Spirit, are you now trying to finish ³  by human effort? ⁴ 

Slaves, ¹  obey your human masters ²  with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart as to Christ,

These are all destined to perish with use, founded as they are ¹  on human commands and teachings. ² 

Consequently the one who rejects this is not rejecting human authority ¹  but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

But no human being can subdue the tongue; it is a restless ¹  evil, full of deadly poison.

Be subject to every human institution ¹  for the Lord’s sake, whether to a king as supreme

for no prophecy was ever borne of human impulse; rather, men ¹  carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

“Whoever sheds human blood, ¹  by other humans ²  must his blood be shed; for in God’s image ³  God ⁴  has made humankind.”

“Set apart ¹  to me every firstborn male – the first offspring of every womb ²  among the Israelites, whether human or animal; it is mine.” ³ 

The Preeminent One ¹  of Israel does not go back on his word ²  or change his mind, for he is not a human being who changes his mind.” ³ 

He sacrificed all the priests of the high places on the altars located there, and burned human bones on them. Then he returned to Jerusalem.

For he ¹  is not a human being like I am, that ²  I might answer him, that we might come ³  together in judgment.

Of what importance is the human race, ¹  that you should notice ²  them? Of what importance is mankind, ³  that you should pay attention to them, ⁴
