But Christ ¹  is faithful as a son over God’s ²  house. We are of his house, ³  if in fact we hold firmly ⁴  to our confidence and the hope we take pride in. ⁵ 

But ¹  showing its fault, ²  God ³  says to them, ⁴  “Look, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will complete a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

The rain fell, the flood came, and the winds beat against that house, and it collapsed; it was utterly destroyed!” ¹ 

When Jesus entered the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the disorderly crowd,

Now ¹  as soon as they left the synagogue, ²  they entered Simon and Andrew’s house, with James and John.

They came to the house of the synagogue ruler where ¹  he saw noisy confusion and people weeping and wailing loudly. ² 

Now ¹  when Jesus ²  had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about the parable.

Then, ¹  after he went into the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”

The one on the roof ¹  must not come down or go inside to take anything out of his house. ² 

For ¹  he has raised up ²  a horn of salvation ³  for us in the house of his servant David, ⁴ 

“Now his older son was in the field. As ¹  he came and approached the house, he heard music ²  and dancing.

So ¹  the rich man ²  said, ‘Then I beg you, father – send Lazarus ³  to my father’s house

Suddenly ¹  a sound ²  like a violent wind blowing ³  came from heaven ⁴  and filled the entire house where they were sitting.

He ¹  found favor ²  with ³  God and asked that he could ⁴  find a dwelling place ⁵  for the house ⁶  of Jacob.

This man is staying as a guest with a man named Simon, a tanner, ¹  whose house is by the sea.”

At that very moment, ¹  three men sent to me from Caesarea ²  approached ³  the house where we were staying. ⁴ 

Then ¹  they spoke the word of the Lord ²  to him, along with all those who were in his house.

to Apphia ¹  our sister, ²  to Archippus our ³  fellow soldier, and to the church that meets in your house.

who is faithful to the one who appointed him, as Moses was also in God’s ¹  house. ² 

People ¹  do not light a lamp and put it under a basket ²  but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.
