Then Noah ¹  sent out a dove ²  to see if the waters had receded ³  from the surface of the ground.

When Abraham’s servant heard their words, he bowed down to the ground before the Lord.

So Joseph moved them from Israel’s knees ¹  and bowed down with his face to the ground.

Then Moses and Aaron fell down with their faces to the ground ¹  before the whole assembled community ²  of the Israelites.

However, you must not eat its blood; you must pour it out on the ground like water.

When you send your life-giving breath, they are created, and you replenish the surface of the ground.

Their life’s breath departs, they return to the ground; on that day their plans die. ¹ 

Men bow down to them in homage, they lie flat on the ground in worship. ¹  Don’t spare them! ² 

Does a farmer just keep on plowing at planting time? ¹  Does he keep breaking up and harrowing his ground?

I trampled nations in my anger, I made them drunk ¹  in my rage, I splashed their blood on the ground.” ² 

Then I looked, ¹  and I saw one wheel ²  on the ground ³  beside each of the four beings.
