These days were to be remembered and to be celebrated in every generation and in every family, every province, and every city. The Jews were not to fail to observe these days of Purim; the remembrance of them was not to cease among their descendants.

Terrors ¹  frighten him on all sides and dog ²  his every step.

He has cut out channels ¹  through the rocks; his eyes have spotted ²  every precious thing.

It ranges the hills as its pasture, and searches after every green plant.

Scatter abroad ¹  the abundance ²  of your anger. Look at every proud man ³  and bring him low;

Look at every proud man and abase him; crush the wicked on the spot! ¹ 

It looks on every haughty being; it is king over all that are proud.” ¹ 

He is the one who forms every human heart, ¹  and takes note of all their actions.

They stalk ¹  and lurk; ²  they watch my every step, ³  as ⁴  they prepare to take my life. ⁵ 

Sing to the Lord! Praise his name! Announce every day how he delivers! ¹ 

Fire goes before him; on every side ¹  it burns up his enemies.

When the godly see this, they rejoice, and every sinner ¹  shuts his mouth.

Every day I will praise you! I will praise your name continually! ¹ 

You open your hand, and fill every living thing with the food they desire. ¹ 

Then you will understand ¹  righteousness and justice and equity – every ²  good ³  way. ⁴ 

Every shrewd ¹  person acts with knowledge, but a fool displays ²  his folly.

The Lord abhors ¹  every arrogant person; ²  rest assured ³  that they will not go unpunished. ⁴ 

The dice are thrown into the lap, ¹  but their every decision ²  is from the Lord. ³ 

It is an honor for a person ¹  to cease ²  from strife, but every fool quarrels. ³ 

For everything ¹  there is an appointed time, ²  and an appropriate time ³  for every activity ⁴  on earth: ⁵
