When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, ¹ 

His disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing against you and you say, ‘Who touched me?’”

Now ¹  when Jesus ²  had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him about the parable.

But if we say, ‘From people – ’” (they feared the crowd, for they all considered John to be truly a prophet).

Then the crowd came up and began to ask Pilate to release a prisoner for them, as was his custom. ¹ 

The ¹  whole crowd was trying to touch him, because power ²  was coming out from him and healing them all.

Soon ¹  afterward ²  Jesus ³  went to a town ⁴  called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went with him.

Now Jesus’ ¹  mother and his brothers ²  came to him, but ³  they could not get near him because of the crowd.

Now on ¹  the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, a large crowd met him.

Then ¹  someone from the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell ²  my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”

So ¹  Judas ²  agreed and began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus ³  when no crowd was present. ⁴ 

A large crowd was following him because they were observing the miraculous signs he was performing on the sick.

When they heard these words, some of the crowd ¹  began to say, “This really ²  is the Prophet!” ³ 

The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. ¹ 

Because they had heard that Jesus ¹  had performed this miraculous sign, the crowd went out to meet him.

which I was doing when they found me in the temple, ritually purified, ¹  without a crowd or a disturbance. ² 

When Athaliah heard the royal guard ¹  shouting and praising the king, she joined the crowd ²  at the Lord’s temple.
