Now ¹  Jesus went up the mountain ²  and called for those he wanted, and they came to him.

Then ¹  they went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus ²  said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”

When ¹  morning came, he called his disciples and chose twelve of them, whom he also named apostles: ² 

Soon ¹  afterward ²  Jesus ³  went to a town ⁴  called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went with him.

John’s ¹  disciples informed him about all these things. So ²  John called ³  two of his disciples

After ¹  Jesus ²  called ³  the twelve ⁴  together, he gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure ⁵  diseases,

When ¹  Jesus saw her, he called her to him ²  and said, “Woman, ³  you are freed ⁴  from your infirmity.” ⁵ 

I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me ¹  like one of your hired workers.”’

Now there is ¹  in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate ²  a pool called Bethzatha ³  in Aramaic, ⁴  which has five covered walkways. ⁵ 

After this ¹  Jesus went away to the other side of the Sea of Galilee (also called the Sea of Tiberias). ² 

If those people to whom the word of God came were called ‘gods’ (and the scripture cannot be broken), ¹ 

So Thomas (called Didymus ¹ ) ²  said to his fellow disciples, “Let us go too, so that we may die with him.” ³ 

And they called them in and ordered ¹  them not to speak or teach at all in the name ²  of Jesus.

Not long after this, a hurricane-force ¹  wind called the northeaster ²  blew down from the island. ³ 

From Paul, ¹  a slave ²  of Christ Jesus, ³  called to be an apostle, ⁴  set apart for the gospel of God. ⁵ 

From Paul, ¹  called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus ²  by the will of God, and Sosthenes, our brother,

God is faithful, by whom you were called into fellowship with his son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

But when the one ¹  who set me apart from birth ²  and called me by his grace was pleased

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you too were called to the one hope of your calling,

O Timothy, protect what has been entrusted to you. Avoid ¹  the profane chatter and absurdities ²  of so-called “knowledge.” ³
