So the disciples, each in accordance with his financial ability, ¹  decided ²  to send relief ³  to the brothers living in Judea.

Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through this one ¹  forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you,

But the Jews who refused to believe ¹  stirred up the Gentiles and poisoned their minds ²  against the brothers.

Both Judas and Silas, who were prophets themselves, encouraged and strengthened the brothers with a long speech. ¹ 

but Paul chose Silas and set out, commended ¹  to the grace of the Lord by the brothers and sisters. ² 

Then the brothers sent Paul away to the coast ¹  at once, but Silas and Timothy remained in Berea. ² 

So then, ¹  brothers and sisters, ²  we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh

If you sin against your brothers or sisters ¹  in this way and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.

So then, brothers and sisters, ¹  be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid anyone from speaking in tongues. ² 

Now we make known to you, brothers and sisters, ¹  the grace of God given to the churches of Macedonia,

Now ¹  I want you to know, brothers and sisters, ²  that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. ³ 

Therefore, brothers and sisters, ¹  we are not children of the slave woman but of the free woman.

Peace to the brothers and sisters, ¹  and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I want you to know, brothers and sisters, ¹  that my situation has actually turned out to advance the gospel: ² 

For you yourselves know, brothers and sisters, ¹  about our coming to you – it has not proven to be purposeless. ² 

So ¹  in all our distress and affliction, we were reassured about you, brothers and sisters, ²  through your faith.

But you, brothers and sisters, ¹  are not in the darkness for the day to overtake you like a thief would.

And we urge you, brothers and sisters, ¹  admonish the undisciplined, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient toward all.

I call on you solemnly in the Lord ¹  to have this letter read to all the brothers and sisters. ² 

Do not address an older man harshly ¹  but appeal to him as a father. Speak to younger men as brothers, ²
