But while everyone was sleeping, an enemy came and sowed weeds ¹  among the wheat and went away.

After sending away the crowd, he got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan. ¹ 

I tell you the truth, ¹  this generation ²  will not pass away until all these things take place.

But if ¹  that evil slave should say to himself, ²  ‘My master is staying away a long time,’

So leaving them again, he went away and prayed for the third time, saying the same thing once more.

But at this statement, the man ¹  looked sad and went away sorrowful, for he was very rich. ² 

I tell you the truth, ¹  this generation ²  will not pass away until all these things take place.

They had been asking each other, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance to the tomb?”

The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go ¹  with him, but Jesus ²  sent him away, saying,

but one thing ¹  is needed. Mary has chosen the best ²  part; it will not be taken away from her.”

But ¹  he will reply, ²  ‘I don’t know where you come from! ³  Go away from me, all you evildoers!’ ⁴ 

But they remained silent. So ¹  Jesus ²  took hold of the man, ³  healed him, and sent him away. ⁴ 

So ¹  he sent another slave. They beat this one too, treated him outrageously, and sent him away empty-handed. ² 

I tell you the truth, ¹  this generation ²  will not pass away until all these things take place.

“Father, if you are willing, take ¹  this cup ²  away from me. Yet not my will but yours ³  be done.”

The man went away and informed the Jewish leaders ¹  that Jesus was the one who had made him well.

After this ¹  Jesus went away to the other side of the Sea of Galilee (also called the Sea of Tiberias). ² 

So Jesus said to the twelve, “You don’t want to go away too, do you?” ¹ 

for on account of him many of the Jewish people from Jerusalem ¹  were going away and believing in Jesus.

If God is glorified in him, ¹  God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him right away. ²
