The young woman’s father must say to the elders, “I gave my daughter to this man and he has rejected ¹  her.

He went ¹  to be registered with Mary, who was promised in marriage to him, ²  and who was expecting a child.

and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the wedding. ¹ 

The palace where he lived was constructed in a similar way. ¹  He also constructed a palace like this hall for Pharaoh’s daughter, whom he had married. ²

Now the birth of Jesus Christ happened this way. While his mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, but before they came together, ¹  she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.
