They swore their allegiance to the Lord, shouting their approval loudly and sounding trumpets and horns. ¹ 

I am numb with pain and severely battered; ¹  I groan loudly because of the anxiety I feel. ² 

He pronounces this blessing on himself while he is alive: “May men praise you, for you have done well!”

They ¹  lift their voices and shout joyfully; they praise ²  the majesty of the Lord in the west.

I said, “Indeed, ¹  let them come quickly and sing a song of mourning for us. Let them wail loudly until tears stream from our own eyes and our eyelids overflow with water.

Then he shouted in my ears, “Approach, ¹  you who are to visit destruction on the city, each with his destructive weapon in his hand!”
