The elders of that city must then seize the man and punish ¹  him.

When the Philistines saw he had no attendants, they gave him thirty groomsmen who kept him company. ¹ 

Jonathan made a covenant with David, for he loved him as much as he did his own life. ¹ 

So the prophet went back with him and ate and drank in his house. ¹ 

This is exactly what happened to him. The people trampled him to death in the city gate.

So Jehosheba, the daughter of King Joram and sister of Ahaziah, took Ahaziah’s son Joash and sneaked ¹  him away from the rest of the royal descendants who were to be executed. She hid him and his nurse in the room where the bed covers were stored. ²  So he was hidden from Athaliah and escaped execution. ³ 

This is the record ¹  of the family line ²  of Adam. When God created humankind, ³  he made them ⁴  in the likeness of God.

Enoch walked with God, and then he disappeared ¹  because God took ²  him away.

He had ¹  so many sheep ²  and cattle ³  and such a great household of servants that the Philistines became jealous ⁴  of him.
