When Saul’s servants reported what David had said,

So David’s servants went and spoke all these words to Nabal in David’s name. Then they paused.

He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said to him, “Sovereign Lord, you know.”

This is what the sovereign Lord says to these bones: Look, I am about to infuse breath ¹  into you and you will live.

Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate. He measured the south gate; it had the same dimensions as the others.
