Then the one making the offering ¹  must present all its fat: the fatty tail, the fat covering the entrails,

He must present this grain offering ¹  in addition to ring-shaped loaves of leavened bread which regularly accompany ²  the sacrifice of his thanksgiving peace offering.

This is the allotment of Aaron and the allotment of his sons from the Lord’s gifts on the day Moses ¹  presented them to serve as priests ²  to the Lord.

So Moses brought Aaron and his sons forward and washed them with water.

Then he presented the burnt offering ram and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram,

So Aaron approached the altar and slaughtered the sin offering calf which was for himself.

Next he presented the grain offering, filled his hand with some of it, and offered it up in smoke on the altar in addition to the morning burnt offering. ¹ 

So they came near and carried them away in their tunics to a place outside the camp just as Moses had spoken.

Then Aaron is to present the sin offering bull which is for himself and is to make atonement on behalf of himself and his household.

Aaron must then present the goat which has been designated by lot for the Lord, ¹  and he is to make it a sin offering,

“‘No man is to approach any close relative ¹  to have sexual intercourse with her. ²  I am the Lord. ³ 

You must not expose the nakedness of your father’s brother; you must not approach his wife to have sexual intercourse with her. ¹  She is your aunt. ² 

You must not present anything that has a flaw, ¹  because it will not be acceptable for your benefit. ² 

You must not present to the Lord something with testicles that are bruised, crushed, torn, or cut off; ¹  you must not do this in your land.

You must count fifty days – until the day after the seventh Sabbath – and then ¹  you must present a new grain offering to the Lord.

“Bring the tribe of Levi near, ¹  and present ²  them before Aaron the priest, that they may serve him. ³ 

So you are to appoint Aaron and his sons, and they will be responsible for their priesthood; ¹  but the unauthorized person ²  who comes near must be put to death.”

Every offering ¹  of all the Israelites’ holy things that they bring to the priest will be his.

“‘Then the priest must present all these ¹  before the Lord and offer ²  his purification offering and his burnt offering.

The one who presented his offering on the first day was Nahshon son of Amminadab, from the tribe of Judah. ¹
