I pour out my lament before him; I tell him about ¹  my troubles.

The faithful witness ¹  tells what is right, ²  but a false witness ³  speaks ⁴  deceit.

I will denounce your so-called righteousness and your deeds, ¹  but they will not help you.

For messengers are coming, heralding disaster, from the city of Dan and from the hills of Ephraim. ¹
