If you lay your hand on it, you will remember ¹  the fight, and you will never do it again!

I maintain a pure lifestyle, ¹  so I can appear before your altar, ²  O Lord,

For this reason ¹  I will praise you while I live; in your name I will lift up my hands. ² 

My God, rescue me from the power ¹  of the wicked, from the hand of the cruel oppressor!

I concluded, ¹  “Surely in vain I have kept my motives ²  pure and maintained a pure lifestyle. ³ 

It said: ¹  “I removed the burden from his shoulder; his hands were released from holding the basket. ² 

They will lift you up in their hands, so you will not slip and fall on a stone. ¹ 

I will lift my hands to ¹  your commands, which I love, and I will meditate on your statutes.

You ¹  will eat what you worked so hard to grow. ²  You will be blessed and secure. ³ 

May you accept my prayer like incense, my uplifted hands like the evening offering! ¹ 

My child, ²  if you have made a pledge ³  for your neighbor, and ⁴  have become a guarantor ⁵  for a stranger, ⁶ 

The one who is lazy ¹  becomes poor, ²  but the one who works diligently ³  becomes wealthy. ⁴ 

She considers ¹  a field and buys it; from her own income ²  she plants a vineyard.

Look, I have inscribed your name ¹  on my palms; your walls are constantly before me.

Let us lift up our hearts ¹  and our hands to God in heaven:

He restored the chief cupbearer to his former position ¹  so that he placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand,

You are to make its plates, ¹  its ladles, ²  its pitchers, and its bowls, to be used in pouring out offerings; ³  you are to make them of pure gold.

When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and will cover ¹  you with my hand ²  while I pass by. ³ 

Then I will take away my hand, and you will see my back, ¹  but my face must not be seen.” ² 

Next he presented the grain offering, filled his hand with some of it, and offered it up in smoke on the altar in addition to the morning burnt offering. ¹
