Then she had ¹  yet another son, whom she named Shelah. She gave birth to him in Kezib. ² 

Moses said, “As you wish! ¹  I will not see your face again.” ²

“‘If a man eats a holy offering by mistake, ¹  he must add one fifth to it and give the holy offering to the priest. ² 

“‘If, in spite of all these things, ¹  you do not obey me, I will discipline you seven times more on account of your sins. ² 

If the one who consecrates it redeems his house, he must add to it one fifth of its conversion value in silver, and it will belong to him. ¹ 

For if you turn away from following him, he will once again abandon ¹  them in the wilderness, and you will be the reason for their destruction.” ² 

The rest of the people will hear and become afraid to keep doing such evil among you.

The Israelites again did evil in the Lord’s sight ¹  after Ehud’s death.

But since you abandoned me and worshiped ¹  other gods, I will not deliver you again.

Then the Lord again appeared in Shiloh, for it was in Shiloh that the Lord had revealed himself to Samuel ¹  through the word of the Lord. ²

Jonathan once again took an oath with David, because he loved him. In fact Jonathan loved him as much as he did his own life. ¹ 

When Saul learned that David had fled to Gath, he did not mount a new search for him.

David again assembled ¹  all the best ²  men in Israel, thirty thousand in number.

What more can David say to you? You have given your servant special recognition, ¹  O Lord God!

Those who remain in Judah will take root in the ground and bear fruit. ¹
