let them ¹  drink and forget ²  their poverty, and remember their misery no more.

Remind me of what happened! Let’s debate! You, prove to me that you are right! ¹ 

Remember this, so you can be brave! ¹  Think about it, you rebels! ² 

They have sunk deep into corruption ¹  as in the days of Gibeah. He will remember their wrongdoing. He will repay them for their sins.

Though I scatter ¹  them among the nations, they will remember in far-off places – they and their children will sprout forth and return.
