This Jesus ¹  is the stone that was rejected by you, ²  the builders, that has become the cornerstone. ³ 

and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, ¹  saying, “This man is the Son of God.” ² 

You know ¹  the message ²  he sent to the people ³  of Israel, proclaiming the good news of peace ⁴  through ⁵  Jesus Christ ⁶  (he is Lord ⁷  of all) –

and as they were leaving they said to one another, ¹  “This man is not doing anything deserving ²  death or imprisonment.”

Agrippa ¹  said to Festus, ²  “This man could have been released ³  if he had not appealed to Caesar.” ⁴ 

For this is what the promise declared: ¹  “About a year from now ²  I will return and Sarah will have a son.” ³ 

But see how great he must be, if ¹  Abraham the patriarch gave him a tithe ²  of his plunder.

But when this priest ¹  had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, he sat down at the right hand ²  of God,

And ¹  a voice from heaven said, ²  “This is my one dear Son; ³  in him ⁴  I take great delight.” ⁵ 

In ¹  everything, treat others as you would want them ²  to treat you, ³  for this fulfills ⁴  the law and the prophets.

And the men ¹  were amazed and said, ²  “What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!” ³ 

But when the Pharisees ¹  heard this they said, “He does not cast out demons except by the power of Beelzebul, ²  the ruler ³  of demons!”

The ¹  seed sown on rocky ground ²  is the person who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy.

Whoever then humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

He ¹  answered, “The one who has dipped his hand into the bowl with me ²  will betray me.

and declared, “This man ¹  said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”

When ¹  he went out to the gateway, another slave girl ²  saw him and said to the people there, “This man was with Jesus the Nazarene.”

Above ¹  his head they put the charge against him, ²  which read: ³  “This is Jesus, the king of the Jews.”

So they took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story is told among the Jews to this day. ¹ 

They were overwhelmed by fear and said to one another, “Who then is this? ¹  Even the wind and sea obey him!” ²
