So what benefit ¹  did you then reap ²  from those things that you are now ashamed of? For the end of those things is death.

For I consider that our present sufferings cannot even be compared ¹  to the glory that will be revealed to us.

But as a matter of fact, God has placed each of the members in the body just as he decided.

They were only hearing, “The one who once persecuted us is now proclaiming the good news ¹  of the faith he once tried to destroy.”

since you are encountering ¹  the same conflict that you saw me face and now hear that I am facing. ² 

that is, the mystery that has been kept hidden from ages and generations, but has now been revealed to his saints.

But ¹  now Jesus ²  has obtained a superior ministry, since ³  the covenant that he mediates is also better and is enacted ⁴  on better promises. ⁵ 

And above the ark ¹  were the cherubim ²  of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Now is not the time to speak of these things in detail.

Come now, you rich! Weep and cry aloud ¹  over the miseries that are coming on you.

For you were going astray like sheep ¹  but now you have turned back to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.

For then there will be great suffering ¹  unlike anything that has happened ²  from the beginning of the world until now, or ever will happen.

Then the high priest tore his clothes and declared, ¹  “He has blasphemed! Why do we still need witnesses? Now ²  you have heard the blasphemy!

“He saved others, but he cannot save himself! He is the king of Israel! If he comes down ¹  now from the cross, we will believe in him!

Let the Christ, ¹  the king of Israel, come down from the cross now, that we may see and believe!” Those who were crucified with him also spoke abusively to him. ² 

because he has looked upon the humble state of his servant. ¹  For ²  from now on ³  all generations will call me blessed, ⁴ 

saying, “If you had only known on this day, ¹  even you, the things that make for peace! ²  But now they are hidden ³  from your eyes.

For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit ¹  of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.” ² 

She replied, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you either. Go, and from now on do not sin any more.”]] ¹ 

But now you are trying ¹  to kill me, a man who has told you ²  the truth I heard from God. Abraham did not do this! ³ 

Jesus replied, ¹  “If you were blind, you would not be guilty of sin, ²  but now because you claim that you can see, ³  your guilt ⁴  remains.” ⁵
