But ¹  he will reply, ²  ‘I don’t know where you come from! ³  Go away from me, all you evildoers!’ ⁴ 

Then ¹  when Jesus ²  noticed how the guests ³  chose the places of honor, ⁴  he told them a parable. He said to them,

He said, ¹  “In a certain city ²  there was a judge ³  who neither feared God nor respected people. ⁴ 

Now ¹  a certain ruler ²  asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” ³ 

So ¹  the first one came before him and said, ‘Sir, ²  your mina ³  has made ten minas more.’

Then ¹  the second one came and said, ‘Sir, your mina has made five minas.’

Jesus replied, ¹  “The time ²  has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. ³ 

But Peter helped him up, ¹  saying, “Stand up. I too am a mere mortal.” ² 

After they stopped speaking, ¹  James replied, ²  “Brothers, listen to me.

But Paul called out loudly, ¹  “Do not harm yourself, ²  for we are all here!”

saying, “I will proclaim your name to my brothers; ¹  in the midst of the assembly I will praise you.” ² 

The one who says he is in the light but still hates ¹  his fellow Christian ²  is still in the darkness.

Now Enoch, the seventh in descent beginning with Adam, ¹  even prophesied of them, ²  saying, “Look! The Lord is coming ³  with thousands and thousands ⁴  of his holy ones,

But John ¹  tried to prevent ²  him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and yet you come to me?”

He stretched out his hand and touched ¹  him saying, “I am willing. Be clean!” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Jesus sent out these twelve, instructing them as follows: ¹  “Do not go to Gentile regions ²  and do not enter any Samaritan town. ³ 

He presented them with another parable: ¹  “The kingdom of heaven is like a person who sowed good seed in his field.

So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him: ¹  “God forbid, ²  Lord! This must not happen to you!”

and said, “Lord, have mercy on my son, because he has seizures ¹  and suffers terribly, for he often falls into the fire and into the water.

telling them, “Go to the village ahead of you. ¹  Right away you will find a donkey tied there, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.
