He was not able to do a miracle there, except to lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

He told them, “This kind can come out only by prayer.” ¹ 

Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? ¹  No one is good except God alone.

So Pilate asked him again, ¹  “Have you nothing to say? See how many charges they are bringing against you!”

They ¹  said to her, “But ²  none of your relatives bears this name.” ³ 

And he added, ¹  “I tell you the truth, ²  no prophet is acceptable ³  in his hometown.

Yet ¹  Elijah was sent to none of them, but only to a woman who was a widow at Zarephath in Sidon. ² 

¹  No ²  one after drinking old wine wants the new, for he says, ‘The old is good enough.’” ³ 

Now ¹  a woman was there who had been suffering from a hemorrhage ²  for twelve years ³  but could not be healed by anyone.

Nothing is hidden ¹  that will not be revealed, ²  and nothing is secret that will not be made known.

For I tell you, not one of those individuals ¹  who were invited ²  will taste my banquet!’” ³ 

He ¹  was longing to eat ²  the carob pods ³  the pigs were eating, but ⁴  no one gave him anything.

Jesus ¹  said to him, “Why do you call me good? ²  No one is good except God alone.

Then ¹  Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowds, “I find no basis for an accusation ²  against this man.”

Neither did Herod, for he sent him back to us. Look, he has done nothing ¹  deserving death. ² 

And we rightly so, for we are getting what we deserve for what we did, but this man has done nothing ¹  wrong.”

No one has ever seen God. The only one, ¹  himself God, who is in closest fellowship with ²  the Father, has made God ³  known. ⁴ 

No one ¹  has ascended ²  into heaven except the one who descended from heaven – the Son of Man. ³ 

He testifies about what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.

Furthermore, the Father does not judge ¹  anyone, but has assigned ²  all judgment to the Son,
