Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you. Go away from me, you lawbreakers!’ ¹ 

All those who behave wickedly ¹  do not understand ²  – those who devour my people as if they were eating bread, and do not call out to God.

“Why do the wicked go on living, ¹  grow old, ²  even increase in power?

Is it not misfortune for the unjust, and disaster for those who work iniquity?

He strikes them for their wickedness, ¹  in a place where people can see, ² 

Then from the wicked the light is withheld, and the arm raised in violence ¹  is broken. ² 

I can count ¹  all my bones; my enemies ²  are gloating over me in triumph. ³ 

The little bit that a godly man owns is better than the wealth of many evil men, ¹ 

for evil men will lose their power, ¹  but the Lord sustains ²  the godly.

He says, ¹  “How long will you make unjust legal decisions and show favoritism to the wicked? ²  (Selah)

Rescue the poor and needy! Deliver them from the power ¹  of the wicked!

Certainly you will see it with your very own eyes – you will see the wicked paid back. ¹ 

The wicked have no chance for deliverance, ¹  for they do not seek your statutes.

The Lord is just; he cut the ropes of the wicked.” ¹ 

You will not be afraid ¹  of sudden ²  disaster, ³  or when destruction overtakes ⁴  the wicked; ⁵ 

The righteous will never be moved, but the wicked will not inhabit the land. ¹ 

The plans ¹  of the righteous are just; the counsels of the wicked are deceitful. ² 

The wicked are overthrown ¹  and perish, ²  but the righteous household ³  will stand.

Righteousness ¹  guards the one who lives with integrity, ²  but wickedness ³  overthrows the sinner.

A wise king separates out ¹  the wicked; he turns the threshing wheel over them. ²
