They quickly forgot what he had done; ¹  they did not wait for his instructions. ² 

I remember your ancient regulations, ¹  O Lord, and console myself. ² 

I remember your name during the night, O Lord, and I will keep ¹  your law.

A song of ascents. ²  O Lord, for David’s sake remember all his strenuous effort, ³ 

The one who pursues righteousness and love ¹  finds life, bounty, ²  and honor.

“Don’t remember these earlier events; ¹  don’t recall these former events.

Remember this, so you can be brave! ¹  Think about it, you rebels! ² 

ז (Zayin) Remember ¹  my impoverished and homeless condition, ²  which is a bitter poison. ³ 

¹ O Lord, reflect on ²  what has happened to us; consider ³  and look at ⁴  our disgrace.

Then the angel of the Lord exhorted Joshua solemnly:

Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest ¹  to send out ²  workers into his harvest.”

But ¹  he sternly ordered them not to make him known. ² 

For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God.

making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Be devoted to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.

But when he arrived in Rome, ¹  he eagerly searched for me and found me.

Now without faith it is impossible to please him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

God heard their groaning, ¹  God remembered ²  his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob,

Furthermore, remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and so be careful to observe these statutes.

Remember what the Lord your God did to Miriam ¹  along the way after you left Egypt.
