He lives in Salem; ¹  he dwells in Zion. ²

Although you were a powerful man, ¹  owning land, ²  an honored man ³  living on it, ⁴ 

“In what direction ¹  does light reside, and darkness, where is its place,

Certainly ¹  you are not a God who approves of evil; ²  evil people ³  cannot dwell with you. ⁴ 

So my heart rejoices and I am happy; ¹  My life is safe. ² 

The Lord reigns! The nations tremble. ²  He sits enthroned above the winged angels; ³  the earth shakes. ⁴ 

The one who forgives ¹  an offense seeks ²  love, but whoever repeats a matter separates close friends. ³ 

No one ¹  has ascended ²  into heaven except the one who descended from heaven – the Son of Man. ³ 

The one who eats ¹  my flesh and drinks my blood resides in me, and I in him. ²
