and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No ¹  one was able to learn the song except the one hundred and forty-four thousand who had been redeemed from the earth.

This is the law ¹  of the land animals, the birds, all the living creatures that move in the water, and all the creatures ²  that swarm on the land,

And all living things ¹  that moved on the earth died, including the birds, domestic animals, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all humankind.

“‘These you can eat from all creatures that are in the water: Any creatures in the water that have both fins and scales, ¹  whether in the seas or in the streams, ²  you may eat.

You may eat any clean bird.

When the cherubim ¹  stood still, the wheels ²  stood still, and when they rose up, the wheels ³  rose up with them, for the spirit ⁴  of the living beings ⁵  was in the wheels. ⁶ 

Pairs ¹  of all creatures ²  that have the breath of life came into the ark to Noah.

Every swarming thing that swarms on the land is detestable; it must not be eaten.

These you may eat from among water creatures: anything with fins and scales you may eat,

When they moved they would go in any of the four directions they faced without turning as they moved.

In it ¹  were all kinds of four-footed animals and reptiles ²  of the earth and wild birds. ³ 

For every kind of animal, bird, reptile, and sea creature ¹  is subdued and has been subdued by humankind. ² 

Bring out with you all the living creatures that are with you. Bring out ¹  every living thing, including the birds, animals, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. Let them increase ²  and be fruitful and multiply on the earth!” ³ 

Therefore desert creatures and jackals will live there. Ostriches ¹  will dwell in it too. ²  But no people will ever live there again. No one will dwell there for all time to come. ³ 

Pairs ¹  of clean animals, of unclean animals, of birds, and of everything that creeps along the ground,

Every living creature, every creeping thing, every bird, and everything that moves on the earth went out of the ark in their groups.

“Tell the Israelites: ‘This is the kind of creature you may eat from among all the animals ¹  that are on the land.

“‘Now this is what is unclean to you among the swarming things that swarm on the land: ¹  the rat, the mouse, the large lizard of any kind,

nor is he served by human hands, as if he needed anything, ¹  because he himself gives life and breath and everything to everyone. ² 

You open your hand, and fill every living thing with the food they desire. ¹
