Then the disciples came ¹  to Jesus privately and said, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”

They cast out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.

But if I cast out demons by the finger ¹  of God, then the kingdom of God ²  has already overtaken ³  you.

Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world ¹  will be driven out. ²
