Abram added, ¹  “Since ²  you have not given me a descendant, then look, one born in my house will be my heir!” ³ 

Then ¹  seven heads of grain, withered and thin and burned with the east wind, were sprouting up after them.

So he returned to him, and he was still ¹  standing by his burnt offering, he and all the princes of Moab.

Their territory ran ¹  from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpah and Betonim, and from Mahanaim to the territory of Debir.
