The ¹  circumcised believers ²  who had accompanied Peter were greatly astonished ³  that ⁴  the gift of the Holy Spirit ⁵  had been poured out ⁶  even on the Gentiles,

Now some men came down from Judea ¹  and began to teach the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised ²  according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.”

Now Abraham was 99 years old ¹  when he was circumcised; ²

You must circumcise the flesh of your foreskins. This will be a reminder ¹  of the covenant between me and you.

All the men of his household, whether born in his household or bought with money from a foreigner, were circumcised with him.
