Come! Listen, all you who are loyal to God! ¹  I will declare what he has done for me.

God deserves praise, ¹  for ²  he did not reject my prayer or abandon his love for me! ³ 

Deliver yourself like a gazelle from a snare, ¹  and like a bird from the trap ²  of the fowler.

though it never saw the light of day ¹  nor knew anything, ²  yet it has more rest ³  than that man –

They will build houses and live in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

Before they even call out, ¹  I will respond; while they are still speaking, I will hear.

They sing ¹  to the tune of ²  stringed instruments; ³  like David they invent ⁴  musical instruments.

I ¹  have also heard ²  the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, ³  and I have remembered my covenant. ⁴ 

You must love ¹  the Lord your God with your whole mind, ²  your whole being, ³  and all your strength. ⁴

Say to God: “How awesome are your deeds! Because of your great power your enemies cower in fear ¹  before you.

He rules ¹  by his power forever; he watches ²  the nations. Stubborn rebels should not exalt ³  themselves. (Selah)

You allowed men to ride over our heads; we passed through fire and water, but you brought us out into a wide open place. ¹ 

I will offer up to you fattened animals as burnt sacrifices, along with the smell of sacrificial rams. I will offer cattle and goats. (Selah)
