(1.00)Zep 3:8

Therefore you must wait patiently 1  for me,” says the Lord, “for the day when I attack and take plunder. 2  I have decided 3  to gather nations together and assemble kingdoms, so I can pour out my fury on them – all my raging anger. For 4  the whole earth will be consumed by my fiery anger.

(1.00)Zep 3:9

Know for sure that I will then enable the nations to give me acceptable praise. 1  All of them will invoke the Lord’s name when they pray, 2  and will worship him in unison. 3

(1.00)Zep 3:10

At that time I will lead you – at the time I gather you together. 1  Be sure of this! 2  I will make all the nations of the earth respect and admire you 3  when you see me restore you,” 4  says the Lord.

The Lord who rules over all 1  says this: “These people have said, ‘The time for rebuilding the Lord’s temple has not yet come.’” 2

(1.00)Hag 1:6

(1.00)Hag 1:11

Moreover, I have called for a drought that will affect the fields, the hill country, the grain, new wine, fresh olive oil, and everything that grows from the ground; it also will harm people, animals, and everything they produce.’” 1

(1.00)Hag 1:12

Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and the high priest Joshua son of Jehozadak, 1  along with the whole remnant of the people, 2  obeyed 3  the Lord their God. They responded favorably to the message of the prophet Haggai, who spoke just as the Lord their God had instructed him, 4  and the people began to respect the Lord. 5

(1.00)Hag 1:13

Then Haggai, the Lord’s messenger, spoke the Lord’s word to the people: 1  “I am with you!” says the Lord.

(1.00)Hag 1:14

So the Lord energized and encouraged 1  Zerubbabel 2  son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, the high priest Joshua son of Jehozadak, 3  and the whole remnant of the people. 4  They came and worked on the temple of their God, the Lord who rules over all.

(1.00)Hag 2:4
