I gave it over to the leader of the nations. He has judged it thoroughly, ¹  as its sinfulness deserves. I have thrown it out.

Those who have been delivered ¹  will go up on Mount Zion in order to rule over ²  Esau’s mountain. Then the Lord will reign as King! ³ 

So now we consider the arrogant to be happy; indeed, those who practice evil are successful. ¹  In fact, those who challenge ²  God escape!’”

Thus you nullify ¹  the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like this.”

You will be hated by everyone because of my name. ¹  But the one who endures to the end will be saved. ²

and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He ¹  unrolled ²  the scroll and found the place where it was written,

The man from whom the demons had gone out begged to go ¹  with him, but Jesus ²  sent him away, saying,

Now ¹  he was casting out a demon that was mute. ²  When ³  the demon had gone out, the man who had been mute began to speak, ⁴  and the crowds were amazed.

For the Son of Man is to go just as it has been determined, ¹  but woe to that man by whom he is betrayed!”

I have given them your word, ¹  and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world, ²  just as I do not belong to the world. ³ 

With ¹  great power the apostles were giving testimony ²  to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was on them all.

So Barnabas and Saul returned to ¹  Jerusalem ²  when they had completed ³  their mission, ⁴  bringing along with them John Mark. ⁵ 

For the payoff ¹  of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Then ¹  comes the end, ²  when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when he has brought to an end all rule and all authority and power.

But the scripture imprisoned ¹  everything and everyone ²  under sin so that the promise could be given – because of the faithfulness ³  of Jesus Christ – to those who believe.

even though we were dead in transgressions, made us alive together with Christ – by grace you are saved! ¹  –

For by grace you are saved ¹  through faith, ²  and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God;

But you know his qualifications, that like a son working with his father, he served with me in advancing the gospel.

He called you to this salvation ¹  through our gospel, so that you may possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. ²
