begging us with great earnestness for the blessing and fellowship of helping ¹  the saints.

Now I urge you, brothers and sisters, ¹  bear with my message of exhortation, for in fact I have written to you briefly.

So now do as they say. ¹  But seriously warn ²  them and make them aware of the policies of the king who will rule over them.” ³ 

Realize ¹  now that the Lord has chosen you to build a temple as his sanctuary. Be strong and do it!”

I will hand it over, ¹  along with the Ammonites, ²  to the tribes ³  of the east, so that the Ammonites will no longer be remembered among the nations.

None of the sins he has committed will be counted ¹  against him. He has done what is just and right; he will certainly live.

For ¹  I will remove the names of the Baal idols ²  from your lips, ³  so that you will never again utter their names!” ⁴
