Certainly ¹  the Lord guards the way of the godly, ²  but the way of the wicked ends in destruction. ³ 

A wise person is cautious ¹  and turns from evil, but a fool throws off restraint ²  and is overconfident. ³ 

because drunkards and gluttons become impoverished, and drowsiness ¹  clothes them with rags. ² 

and the chambers of the court was 35 feet ¹  in width all around the temple on every side.

the pure ¹  lampstand, its lamps, with the lamps set in order, and all its accessories, and oil for the light;

Listen to the painful cries of the prisoners! ¹  Use your great strength to set free those condemned to die! ² 

He touched my mouth with it and said, “Look, this coal has touched your lips. Your evil is removed; your sin is forgiven.” ¹ 

Your rowers have brought you into surging waters. The east wind has wrecked you in the heart of the seas.

Then he measured the wall of the temple ¹  as 10½ feet, ²  and the width of the side chambers as 7 feet, ³  all around the temple.

Therefore they will now be the first to go into exile, ¹  and the religious banquets ²  where they sprawl on couches ³  will end.

On the top of each pillar, right above the bulge beside the latticework, there were two hundred pomegranate-shaped ornaments arranged in rows all the way around. ¹

² There was a man ³  in the land of Uz ⁴  whose ⁵  name was Job. ⁶  And that man was pure ⁷  and upright, ⁸  one who feared God and turned away from evil. ⁹ 

So the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered ¹  my servant Job? There ²  is no one like him on the earth, a pure and upright man, one who fears God and turns away ³  from evil.”

I will break Assyria ¹  in my land, I will trample them ²  underfoot on my hills. Their yoke will be removed from my people, the burden will be lifted from their shoulders. ³ 

Honesty has disappeared; the one who tries to avoid evil is robbed. The Lord watches and is displeased, ¹  for there is no justice.
