If it is not redeemed before the full calendar year is ended, ¹  the house in the walled city ²  will belong without reclaim ³  to the one who bought it throughout his generations; it will not revert in the jubilee.

One statute must apply ¹  to you who belong to the congregation and to the resident foreigner who is living among you, as a permanent ²  statute for your future generations. You and the resident foreigner will be alike ³  before the Lord.

The one who gathers the ashes of the heifer must wash his clothes and be ceremonially unclean until evening. This will be a permanent ordinance both for the Israelites and the resident foreigner who lives among them.

I will set up within my temple and my walls a monument ¹  that will be better than sons and daughters. I will set up a permanent monument ²  for them that will remain.

but Jesus ¹  did so ²  with a sworn affirmation by the one who said to him, “The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, ‘You are a priest forever’” ³  –

I will give all the land that you see to you and your descendants ¹  forever.

as his property in the presence of the sons of Heth before all who entered the gate of Ephron’s city. ¹ 

So these things must be a statutory ordinance ¹  for you throughout your generations, in all the places where you live.

He will build a house for my name, and I will make his dynasty permanent. ¹ 

The Lord watches over the innocent day by day ¹  and they possess a permanent inheritance. ² 

As for me, you uphold ¹  me because of my integrity; ²  you allow ³  me permanent access to your presence. ⁴ 

Your throne, ¹  O God, is permanent. ²  The scepter ³  of your kingdom is a scepter of justice.

I will be a permanent guest in your home; ¹  I will find shelter in the protection of your wings. ²  (Selah)

Hurry and look ¹  at the permanent ruins, and all the damage the enemy has done to the temple! ² 

I claim your rules as my permanent possession, for they give me joy. ¹
