So those who were sent ahead found ¹  it exactly ²  as he had told them.

Then ¹  he told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the other trees. ² 

So ¹  they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” ²  Then he told them, “It is enough.” ³ 

His mother told the servants, “Whatever he tells you, do it.” ¹ 

So he ¹  told ²  them, “My Father is working until now, and I too am working.” ³ 

But I told you ¹  that you have seen me ²  and still do not believe.

Jesus told him, “You have seen him; he ¹  is the one speaking with you.” ² 

Jesus told them this parable, ¹  but they ²  did not understand ³  what he was saying to them.

I have told you now before it happens, so that when it happens you may believe. ¹ 

“I have told you all these things so that you will not fall away. ¹ 

But stand up ¹  and enter the city and you will be told ²  what you must do.”

God had told him, “Through Isaac descendants will carry on your name,” ¹ 

Then ¹  they ²  told me: “You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, ³  languages, and kings.”

But I have told you these things ¹  so that when their time ²  comes, you will remember that I told you about them. ³  “I did not tell you these things from the beginning because I was with you. ⁴ 

When Joseph awoke from sleep he did what the angel of the Lord ¹  told him. He took his wife,

The ¹  herdsmen ran off, went into the town, ²  and told everything that had happened to the demon-possessed men.

Then John’s ¹  disciples came and took the body and buried it and went and told Jesus.

But Jesus, paying no attention to what was said, told the synagogue ruler, “Do not be afraid; just believe.”

He strictly ordered that no one should know about this, ¹  and told them to give her something to eat.
