But some who were present indignantly said to one another, “Why this waste of expensive ¹  ointment?

When some of the bystanders heard it they said, “Listen, he is calling for Elijah!” ¹ 

But ¹  some of the Pharisees ²  in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” ³ 

Now some Sadducees ¹  (who contend that there is no resurrection) ²  came to him.

Then ¹  some of the experts in the law ²  answered, “Teacher, you have spoken well!” ³ 

Furthermore, some women of our group amazed us. ¹  They ²  were at the tomb early this morning,

Jesus replied, ¹  “Everyone who drinks some of this water will be thirsty ²  again.

Some of them were wanting to seize him, but no one laid a hand on him. ¹ 

But some of them went to the Pharisees ¹  and reported to them ²  what Jesus had done.

Now some Greeks ¹  were among those who had gone up to worship at the feast.

Jesus said, ¹  “Bring some of the fish you have just now caught.”

Some ¹  devout men buried Stephen and made loud lamentation ²  over him. ³ 

Now after some days had passed, the Jews plotted ¹  together to kill him,

At that time ¹  some ²  prophets ³  came down ⁴  from Jerusalem ⁵  to Antioch. ⁶ 

About that time King Herod ¹  laid hands on ²  some from the church to harm them. ³ 

Some were convinced ¹  by what he said, ²  but others refused ³  to believe.

What then? If some did not believe, does their unbelief nullify the faithfulness of God?

if somehow I could provoke my people to jealousy and save some of them.

Some have become arrogant, ¹  as if I were not coming to you.

And do not complain, as some of them did, and were killed by the destroying angel. ¹
