She is like ¹  the merchant ships; ²  she brings her food from afar.

She considers ¹  a field and buys it; from her own income ²  she plants a vineyard.

She is clothed ¹  with strength ²  and honor, ³  and she can laugh ⁴  at the time ⁵  to come.

“Oholah engaged in prostitution while she was mine. ¹  She lusted after her lovers, the Assyrians ²  – warriors ³ 

When she saw them, ¹  she lusted after them and sent messengers to them in Chaldea. ² 

When ¹  she poured this oil on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.

When ¹  the woman saw that she could not escape notice, ²  she came trembling and fell down before him. In ³  the presence of all the people, she explained why ⁴  she had touched him and how she had been immediately healed.

King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba everything she requested, more than what she had brought him. ¹  Then she left and returned ²  to her homeland with her attendants.

“‘When she realized that she waited in vain, her hope was lost. She took another of her cubs ¹  and made him a young lion.

Woe to the city guilty of bloodshed! ¹  She is full of lies; ²  she is filled with plunder; ³  she has hoarded her spoil! ⁴

For they all gave out of their wealth. ¹  But she, out of her poverty, put in what she had to live on, everything she had.” ² 

When she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, ¹  but she did not know that it was Jesus.

But in my opinion, she will be happier if she remains as she is – and I think that I too have the Spirit of God!
