It crossed to the slope in front of the Arabah to the north and descended into the Arabah.

They buried him in his allotted territory ¹  in Timnath Serah in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.

The cliff to the north was closer to Micmash, the one to the south closer to Geba.

Then the Lord said, “This means ¹  destruction will break out from the north on all who live in the land.
