The woman replied, ¹  “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “Right you are when you said, ²  ‘I have no husband,’ ³ 

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people ¹  by which we must ²  be saved.”

for before the law was given, ¹  sin was in the world, but there is no accounting for sin ²  when there is no law.

Now food will not bring us close to God. We are no worse if we do not eat and no better if we do.

But from those who were influential ¹  (whatever they were makes no difference to me; God shows no favoritism between people ² ) – those influential leaders ³  added ⁴  nothing to my message. ⁵ 

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted by evil, ¹  and he himself tempts no one.

But he said, ‘No, since in gathering the weeds you may uproot the wheat with them.

So ¹  they began to discuss this among themselves, saying, “It is because we brought no bread.”

The same day Sadducees ¹  (who say there is no resurrection) ²  came to him and asked him, ³ 

Having no regard ¹  for the command of God, you hold fast to human tradition.” ² 

then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or mother.

So they began to discuss with one another about having no bread. ¹ 

Suddenly when they looked around, they saw no one with them any more except Jesus.

and the two will become one flesh. ¹  So they are no longer two, but one flesh.

Sadducees ¹  (who say there is no resurrection) ²  also came to him and asked him, ³ 

There were seven brothers. The first one married, ¹  and when he died he had no children.

The second is: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ¹  There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Jesus began to say to them, “Watch out ¹  that no one misleads you.

But Jesus made no further reply, so that Pilate was amazed.

He told them, “Collect no more ¹  than you are required to.” ²
