So ¹  Jesus stopped and ordered the beggar ²  to be brought to him. When the man ³  came near, Jesus ⁴  asked him,

But when these things ¹  begin to happen, stand up and raise your heads, because your redemption ²  is drawing near.”

So also you, when you see these things happening, know ¹  that the kingdom of God ²  is near.

As ¹  I was en route and near Damascus, ²  about noon a very bright ³  light from heaven ⁴  suddenly flashed ⁵  around me.

At that ¹  the high priest Ananias ordered those standing near ²  Paul ³  to strike ⁴  him on the mouth.

Because Lydda ¹  was near Joppa, when the disciples heard that Peter was there, they sent two men to him and urged him, “Come to us without delay.” ² 

With difficulty we sailed along the coast ¹  of Crete ²  and came to a place called Fair Havens that was near the town of Lasea. ³ 

But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” ¹  (that is, the word of faith that we preach),
