Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, so he found the man ¹  and said to him, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” ² 

But some of them said, “This is the man who caused the blind man to see! ¹  Couldn’t he have done something to keep Lazarus ²  from dying?”

if ¹  we are being examined ²  today for a good deed ³  done to a sick man – by what means this man was healed ⁴  –

A man named Ananias, ¹  a devout man according to the law, ²  well spoken of by all the Jews who live there, ³ 

For just as through the disobedience of the one man ¹  many ²  were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man ³  many ⁴  will be made righteous.

For a man should not have his head covered, since he is the image and glory of God. But the woman is the glory of the man.

And just as we have borne the image of the man of dust, let us also bear ¹  the image of the man of heaven.

Instead someone testified somewhere: “What is man that you think of him ¹  or the son of man that you care for him?

Then ¹  some of the experts in the law ²  said to themselves, “This man is blaspheming!” ³ 

and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. ¹ 

He ¹  answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.

When ¹  they came to the crowd, a man came to him, knelt before him,

But when the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he was very rich. ¹ 

He denied it again with an oath, “I do not know the man!”

When ¹  some of the bystanders heard it, they said, “This man is calling for Elijah.”

Immediately Jesus ¹  sent the man ²  away with a very strong warning.

For this reason the Son of Man is lord ¹  even of the Sabbath.”

Then ¹  Jesus ²  entered the synagogue ³  again, and a man was there who had a withered ⁴  hand.

(For Jesus ¹  had said to him, “Come out of that man, you unclean spirit!”) ² 

And immediately the man’s ¹  ears were opened, his tongue loosened, and he spoke plainly.
