May our sovereign God extend his favor to us! ¹  Make our endeavors successful! Yes, make them successful! ² 

Then I will make their waters calm, ¹  and will make their streams flow like olive oil, declares the sovereign Lord.

You are to weave ¹  the tunic of fine linen and make the turban of fine linen, and make the sash the work of an embroiderer.

For ²  Solomon. O God, grant the king the ability to make just decisions! ³  Grant the king’s son ⁴  the ability to make fair decisions! ⁵ 

To make a contribution one selects wood that will not rot; ¹  he then seeks a skilled craftsman to make ²  an idol that will not fall over.

I will make cedars, acacias, myrtles, and olive trees grow in the wilderness; I will make evergreens, firs, and cypresses grow together in the desert.

Can wood be taken from it to make anything useful? Or can anyone make a peg from it to hang things on?

In that day,” says the sovereign Lord, “I will make the sun set at noon, and make the earth dark in the middle of the day. ¹ 

For if I make you sad, who would be left to make me glad ¹  but the one I caused to be sad?
