But the fruit of the Spirit ¹  is love, ²  joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ³ 

for the fruit of the light ¹  consists in ²  all goodness, righteousness, and truth –

And the fruit that consists of righteousness ¹  is planted ²  in peace among ³  those who make peace.

“‘When you enter the land and plant any fruit tree, ¹  you must consider its fruit to be forbidden. ²  Three years it will be forbidden to you; ³  it must not be eaten.

You did not choose me, but I chose you ¹  and appointed you to go and bear ²  fruit, fruit that remains, ³  so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you.

Then the Lord God commanded ¹  the man, “You may freely eat ²  fruit ³  from every tree of the orchard,

The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat ¹  of the fruit from the trees of the orchard;

At the designated time ¹  Cain brought some of the fruit of the ground for an offering ²  to the Lord.

They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves. ¹ 

Therefore ¹  they will eat from the fruit ²  of their way, ³  and they will be stuffed full ⁴  of their own counsel.

My fruit is better than the purest gold, ¹  and what I produce ²  is better than choice silver.

The speech ¹  of the righteous bears the fruit of wisdom, ²  but the one who speaks perversion ³  will be destroyed. ⁴ 

The fruit of the righteous is like ¹  a tree producing life, ²  and the one who wins souls ³  is wise. ⁴ 

Death and life are in the power ¹  of the tongue, ²  and those who love its use ³  will eat its fruit.

I designed ¹  royal gardens ²  and parks ³  for myself, and I planted all kinds of fruit trees in them.

So I began to despair ¹  about all the fruit of ²  my labor ³  for which I worked so hard ⁴  on earth. ⁵ 

In a good field, by abundant waters, it was planted to grow branches, bear fruit, and become a beautiful vine.

You will recognize them by their fruit. Grapes are not gathered ¹  from thorns or figs from thistles, are they? ² 

He said to it, ¹  “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it. ² 

Then if ¹  it bears fruit next year, ²  very well, ³  but if ⁴  not, you can cut it down.’”
