Now ¹  someone came up to him and said, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to gain eternal life?”

But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin” ¹ 

who will not receive many times more ¹  in this age ²  – and in the age to come, eternal life.” ³ 

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.

I give ¹  them eternal life, and they will never perish; ²  no one will snatch ³  them from my hand.

Now this ¹  is eternal life ²  – that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, ³  whom you sent.

For the payoff ¹  of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For our momentary, light suffering ¹  is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison

Now to the eternal king, ¹  immortal, invisible, the only ²  God, be honor and glory forever and ever! ³  Amen.

And so, ¹  since we have been justified by his grace, we become heirs with the confident expectation of eternal life.” ² 

And by being perfected in this way, he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,

And this is the testimony: God ¹  has given us eternal life, ²  and this life is in his Son.

maintain ¹  yourselves in the love of God, while anticipating ²  the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that brings eternal life. ³ 

The sons of Aaron, the priests, must blow the trumpets; and they will be to you for an eternal ordinance throughout your generations.

The everlasting God is a refuge, and underneath you are his eternal arms; ¹  he has driven out enemies before you, and has said, “Destroy!”

The Lord makes this promise on oath ¹  and will not revoke it: ²  “You are an eternal priest ³  after the pattern of ⁴  Melchizedek.” ⁵ 

“Then he will say ¹  to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire that has been prepared for the devil and his angels!

Now ¹  an expert in religious law ²  stood up to test Jesus, ³  saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” ⁴ 

And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by how you use worldly wealth, ¹  so that when it runs out you will be welcomed ²  into the eternal homes. ³ 

The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects ¹  the Son will not see life, but God’s wrath ²  remains ³  on him.
