By his knowledge the primordial sea ¹  was broken open, ²  and the clouds drip down dew. ³ 

when he established the clouds above, when the fountains of the deep grew strong, ¹ 

and lays the beams of the upper rooms of his palace on the rain clouds. ¹  He makes the clouds his chariot, and travels along on the wings of the wind. ² 

Do you know about the balancing ¹  of the clouds, that wondrous activity of him who is perfect in knowledge?

Who by wisdom can count the clouds, and who can tip over ¹  the water jars of heaven,

He covers ¹  the sky with clouds, provides the earth with rain, and causes grass to grow on the hillsides. ² 

He who watches the wind will not sow, and he who observes the clouds will not reap. ¹ 

I will climb up to the tops ¹  of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High!” ² 

Then everyone ¹  will see the Son of Man arriving in the clouds ²  with great power and glory.

I will place ¹  my rainbow ²  in the clouds, and it will become ³  a guarantee of the covenant between me and the earth.

There is no one like God, O Jeshurun, ¹  who rides through the sky ²  to help you, on the clouds in majesty.

O Lord, when you departed ¹  from Seir, when you marched from Edom’s plains, the earth shook, the heavens poured down, the clouds poured down rain. ² 

Meanwhile the sky was covered with dark clouds, the wind blew, and there was a heavy rainstorm. Ahab rode toward ¹  Jezreel.

Thick clouds are a veil for him, so he does not see us, ¹  as he goes back and forth in the vault ²  of heaven.’ ³ 

The clouds ¹  go round in circles, wheeling about according to his plans, to carry out ²  all that he commands them over the face of the whole inhabited world.

But now, the sun ¹  cannot be looked at ²  – it is bright in the skies – after a wind passed and swept the clouds away. ³ 

Sing to God! Sing praises to his name! Exalt the one who rides on the clouds! ¹  For the Lord is his name! ²  Rejoice before him!

He causes the clouds to arise from the end of the earth, makes lightning bolts accompany the rain, and brings the wind out of his storehouses.

In the light of the king’s face ¹  there is life, and his favor is like the clouds ²  of the spring rain. ³ 

before the sun and the light ¹  of the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds disappear ²  after the rain;
