Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” ¹  and call understanding a close relative,

Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice?

“To you, O people, ¹  I call out, and my voice calls ²  to all mankind. ³ 

Her children rise up ¹  and call her blessed, her husband ²  also praises her:

Her nobles will have nothing left to call a kingdom and all her officials will disappear. ¹ 

Seek the Lord while he makes himself available; ¹  call to him while he is nearby!
