Then some of the Pharisees began to say, ¹  “This man is not from God, because he does not observe ²  the Sabbath.” ³  But others said, “How can a man who is a sinner perform ⁴  such miraculous signs?” Thus there was a division ⁵  among them.

and all ate the same spiritual food,

You will also take in your hand this staff, with which you will do the signs.” ¹ 

Your eyes have seen the great judgments, ¹  those signs and mighty wonders.

when he performed his awesome deeds ¹  in Egypt, and his acts of judgment ²  in the region of Zoan.

So then the Jewish leaders ¹  responded, ²  “What sign can you show us, since you are doing these things?” ³ 

So Jesus said to him, “Unless you people ¹  see signs and wonders you will never believe!” ² 

A large crowd was following him because they were observing the miraculous signs he was performing on the sick.

Because they had heard that Jesus ¹  had performed this miraculous sign, the crowd went out to meet him.

For the man, on whom this miraculous sign ¹  of healing had been performed, ²  was over forty years old.

Now Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and miraculous signs ¹  among the people.

For all the people have seen my glory and my signs that I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and yet have tempted ¹  me now these ten times, ²  and have not obeyed me, ³ 

came to Jesus ¹  at night ²  and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs ³  that you do unless God is with him.”

Jesus replied, ¹  “I tell you the solemn truth, ²  you are looking for me not because you saw miraculous signs, but because you ate all the loaves of bread you wanted. ³ 

So they stayed there ¹  for a considerable time, speaking out courageously for the Lord, who testified ²  to the message ³  of his grace, granting miraculous signs ⁴  and wonders to be performed through their hands.

“If ¹  they do not believe you or pay attention to ²  the former sign, then they may ³  believe the latter sign. ⁴ 

Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord who had ¹  sent him and all the signs that he had commanded him.

But I will harden ¹  Pharaoh’s heart, and although I will multiply ²  my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt,

I will put a division ¹  between my people and your people. This sign will take place ²  tomorrow.”’”

And he ¹  brought signs and great, devastating wonders on Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on his whole family ²  before our very eyes.
