The descendants of Bela were Ard ¹  and Naaman. From Ard, ²  the family of the Ardites; from Naaman, the family of the Naamanites.

These are the Danites by their families: from Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These were the families of Dan, according to their families.

The Naphtalites by their families: from Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; from Guni, the family of the Gunites;

the clan of the descendants of Levi by itself and their wives by themselves; and the clan of the Shimeites ¹  by itself and their wives by themselves –

The families of the Gershonites were to camp behind the tabernacle toward the west.
