(2:1) ¹  Once again I looked and this time I saw four horns.

Then I turned to look, and there was a flying scroll!

It will be like a hungry man dreaming that he is eating, only to awaken and find that his stomach is empty. ¹  It will be like a thirsty man dreaming that he is drinking, only to awaken and find that he is still weak and his thirst unquenched. ²  So it will be for the horde from all the nations that fight against Mount Zion.

Abram added, ¹  “Since ²  you have not given me a descendant, then look, one born in my house will be my heir!” ³ 

He ¹  went out to relax ²  in the field in the early evening. ³  Then he looked up ⁴  and saw that ⁵  there were camels approaching.

“Is he well?” ¹  Jacob asked. They replied, “He is well. ²  Now look, here comes his daughter Rachel with the sheep.”

When Jacob saw the look on Laban’s face, he could tell his attitude toward him had changed. ¹ 

“Here is this pile of stones and this pillar I have set up between me and you,” Laban said to Jacob. ¹ 

When Joseph reached Shechem, ¹  a man found him wandering ²  in the field, so the man asked him, “What are you looking for?”

Later Reuben returned to the cistern to find that Joseph was not in it! ¹  He tore his clothes,

So the chief cupbearer told his dream to Joseph: ¹  “In my dream, there was a vine in front of me.

At the end of two full years ¹  Pharaoh had a dream. ²  As he was standing by the Nile,

seven fine-looking, fat cows were coming up out of the Nile, ¹  and they grazed in the reeds.

Then he fell asleep again and had a second dream: There were seven heads of grain growing ¹  on one stalk, healthy ²  and good.

The thin heads swallowed up the seven healthy and full heads. Then Pharaoh woke up and realized it was a dream. ¹ 

Then seven fat and fine-looking cows were coming up out of the Nile, and they grazed in the reeds. ¹ 

I also saw in my dream ¹  seven heads of grain growing on one stalk, full and good.

Then ¹  seven heads of grain, withered and thin and burned with the east wind, were sprouting up after them.

You and my brother Benjamin can certainly see with your own eyes that I really am the one who speaks to you. ¹ 

The priest must then examine it, ¹  and if ²  the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest is to pronounce the person unclean. ³  It is a disease.
